2026-2027 National Ski Team and AAP Carding Nominations

Congratulations to the athletes who have been nominated to the National Ski Team based on the criteria outlined in the 2026–27 National Ski Team Selection Criteria – OLY, and to those who will be nominated to Sport Canada for AAP carding under the 2026–27 Athlete Assistance Program (AAP) Selection Criteria – OLY. All nominations have been reviewed and endorsed by the High-Performance Committee.

AAP Selection Rationale & Synopsis


The purpose of both the NST and AAP selection criteria is to identify athletes who are progressing along the international performance pathway toward podium success at the Olympic Winter Games and World Ski Championships.

AAP carding nominations remain provisional and are subject to Sport Canada’s review and approval.

Descriptions of the NST and AAP criteria provided here are summaries. All selections were made using the full criteria as outlined in the official selection documents. Athletes must meet all eligibility requirements in both the NST and AAP selection criteria to be selected or nominated.

The deadline to appeal any nomination is May 18, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. in the athlete’s local time zone. Appeals must be submitted to the SDRCC: File an Appeal | Tribunal | SDRCC .
