Schedule Update, Olympic and U23/World Junior Championship Trials Jan 5-11

January 05, 2022

Please note the race schedule change for the Sprint Free event on Thursday, January 6th. The start time of the event has been postponed from 9:00 am MST to 11:00 am MSTwith an alternate race schedule (see schedule below).

Given conflicting weather reports and taking into consideration the long-term health and safety of our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and officials, the Local Organizing Committee and Nordiq Canada have made the decision to postpone the start time of the event for the best chance of meeting the required temperature of above -20ºC.

The decision will be reviewed the morning of the event at 9:00 am MST to determine if the event will proceed as planned, or if it will be rescheduled to Friday, January 7th. This decision will be sent at 9:15 am MST to all race participants and distributed on the event website.
