NCDF-Team Coatsworth Athlete Grants
The NCDF Team Coatsworth Athlete Grant is an annual grant– launching in 2022-2023 – delivered through the Nordiq Canada Development Fund. The aim of the grant is to support individual elite athletes, who are in financial need, and have demonstrated potential for reaching international podiums. Athlete’s involvement in furthering their education will also be a consideration. This is established as a generous gift by long-time Canadian cross-country ski supporter and former Nordiq Canada Board Chair Jamie Coatsworth.
For 2022-2023, the grant will support three athletes with $2,000 of funding each, including:
- One Olympic stream female athlete
- One Olympic stream male athlete
- One Para Nordic athlete
Athletes wishing to apply for the grant must provide the following by email to by September 5th, 2022.

2022-2023 Coach and Technical Staff Development Opportunities
Nordiq Canada is committed to creating meaningful development opportunities for our coaches and wax technicians throughout the Development and High-Performance System. We are pleased to offer the following development opportunities for the 2022-2023 Season. Interested coaches and wax technicians are asked to send in applications by August 25, 2022. Details of the opportunities and coaching/waxing experience are outlined below.
Application Process
Interested applicants are asked to supply a cover letter, resume, and desired learning outcomes of the immersion to . Learning outcomes should clearly detail the coach or wax technician’s learning objectives and plan for the opportunity.
