Weekly Division Update: 27 August – 2 September

September 23-25 Meetings in Canmore

Having considered the state of the pandemic, we’ve made the decision to proceed with a small in-person workshop focused on strategic planning from Sep 23-25 in Canmore. A total of 20 representatives have been invited to participate in the Canmore workshops. This replaces the bigger AGM-like gathering that was tentatively planned.

The workshop is one (big) part of the strategic planning process. The process builds on the one-on-one meetings with Divisions and the Athlete Advisory Group in the spring and several engagement surveys completed recently. There will be other ways to engage in the development of the strategic plan. We aim to share the co-created strategic plan to 2030 in January, and we can’t wait to implement it with you.

COVID-19 Response Update

Nordiq Canada’s COVID-19 working group is updating the guidance provided on the Nordiq Canada website, and the scenario plan that guides Nordiq Canada’s pandemic response. With the differences in governments’ pandemic responses across the country, our best advice remains to follow the public health advice that applies where you operate.
