Para-Nordic Job Postings

Canada’s leading Para-Nordic National Ski team program is seeking to fill two (2) coaching roles and a new Podium Pathway role to lead athlete performances into the new era for the program.

The Para-Nordic program is a robust program of athletes, staff and support personnel that delivers podium performances consistently on the world cup, world championship and Paralympic stages. In the 2021-22 season, the team amassed 17 World Cup medals and 14 Paralympic medals, and finished 3rd in the nation ranking at the Games. In its history, the team has achieved over 50 Paralympic medals, both in cross country and biathlon disciplines.

Based at the beautiful Canmore Nordic Centre (AB), Nordiq Canada is the national sport organization for cross-country skiing in Canada. We aim to get all Canadians on skis, and Olympians and Paralympians on podiums.

We are seeking to fill both the Head Coach and Biathlon Coaching roles, as well as a Podium Pathway Coach coordinator to help guide the team into a new era for the program, while building on the team’s success and foundation built over many years. If you are a highly motivated, passionate and professional individual with the skills and experience to contribute to our team’s continued success, please submit your cover letter, resume and contact information for three (3) references to Kate Boyd, High-Performance Director.

FIS Survey of developing skiers

These views help us, as FIS, to evaluate the current status as well as to determine the direction that cross country skiing should be taken.
The survey must be completed by April 30, 2022!The result of this survey will be revealed and shared at the FIS Congress meetings in May. The survey is completely anonymous and is in English only.
