Mark Arendz and Natalie Wilkie are your 2024 Para Biathlon Sprint World Champions!

 

What an amazing start to the Championships with Mark Arendz and Natalie Wilkie winning the 7.5km sprint event. Arendz shot 0-1, despite a miss he was able to take the win by 21 seconds after a blistering fast last lap. Wilkie shot clean for her first time this season to take the win, tying with Ukraine’s Liudmyla Liashenko. Brittany Hudak finished third after shooting clean while, Derek Zapotosky narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth.

Nordiq Canada and Biathlon Canada are excited to announce next year’s Nordic Sports Coaches Conference. The conference provides cross-country, biathlon, ski jumping and nordic combined coaches an exceptional platform to engage in productive collaborations and broaden their expertise through top-tier presenters and hands-on field sessions. Invite and more information to come via the division newsletter, and Nordiq Canada registered coaches email.
