Becoming Para Ready Workshop
On June 22nd, Nordiq Canada will host a second Becoming Para Ready (BPR) Workshop (online) from 3:00 – 6:00 PM MT/5:00-8:00 PM EST. The BPR workshop is designed to help coaches, clubs and administrators understand what it means to be Para Ready and create inclusive and welcoming programs and venues.

In July, the PN program will launch applications for the 2023-24 Persons with a Disability (PWAD) grants. Annually this grant funds up to a total of $30,000 for initiatives across Canada, working to grow and support Para-Nordic programs. For the 2023-24 applications, funding allocations will be tied to elements of the BPR workshop learnings, and how divisions will apply those learning to facilitate more Para ready programs and clubs across Canada.
