Feedback Requested: Nordiq Canada Selection, Nomination and Announcement Policy and Procedures

We have asked Division Chairs and the Athlete Director to provide feedback on the draft Nordiq Canada Selection, Nomination and Announcement Policy and Procedures revision. The updated document further aligns selection decisions with our long-term goals and those of our sport partners, Sport Dispute Resolution Council of Canada best practices, and principles of fairness and transparency. Please speak with your Division Chair or Athlete Director if you’d like to review the draft and provide feedback. We expect to approve the policy and procedures by mid-August.

This policy revision is further to our commitment to work with you to improve the high performance program while creating stronger alignment where appropriate between the Olympic and Paralympic pathways.

COVID-19 Scenario Plan

Nordiq Canada is using this scenario plan to guide our response to the pandemic. We will update the plan from time-to-time. Divisions and clubs can use this document to know what to expect from Nordiq Canada, including, as examples, a decision-making framework for hosting NorAms and resources for club programming. We are developing these resources now.
