Nordiq Canada’s New Officials Hub
To better serve our officials community, we have moved to a new platform for officials to register, log, track, and learn.

Our new system will:

  • enable officials to more effectively track their progress in the pathway,
  • streamline event sanctioning with the logging of official experience, and,
  • allow divisions to monitor SafeSport requirements and which officials are active within their areas for development and insurance purposes.

Access the Nordiq Canada Officials Hub Through your Division Officials Coordinator, or through the Nordiq Canada website.

Annual Division Registration for 2024-2026
As required by the Nordiq Canada by-laws, Divisions renew their membership each year. Annual updates are provided in the attached letter.

The registration form was shared with Division executive directors to be completed by November 14, 2024. Please return the form ASAP if you haven’t already done so. Returning the Division form will ensure your Division’s membership doesn’t lapse and that your Division, clubs and members remain covered by all services, including insurance. Because of the revision to the membership year approved at the AGM, this year’s application and approval will cover two seasons, expiring March 31, 2026.

Fewer opportunities for interaction with other coaches can lead to less exposure to different ideas, philosophies, and approaches which can make it harder to develop as a coach. To address this, and other system gaps, Nordiq Canada made the commitment to create meaningful development opportunities for coaches and wax technicians three years ago by formalizing an immersion program which gives opportunities to these individuals to attend developmentally appropriate competitions and training camps led by Nordiq Canada. Last year, 42 coaches and/or wax techs took advantage of the opportunity.
