In Person Board Meeting
For the first time since 2019, the Board of Directors met in person this week. Many staff and Board members enjoyed meeting each other. Guest presentations included reconciliation, equity, diversity and inclusion; Sport Canada policy and funding frameworks; building trusting relationships. CEO Stephane provided accountability reporting, management shared plans for the upcoming season, and the Board approved by-law changes to be ratified at this year’s AGM. The Board also attended the Alberta World Cup Society year-end social, went for a ski, and did a little grunt work around the office. A very productive weekend and a great preview for the AGM in Gatineau QC, June 16-18.
