Selection Rationale

 

Congratulations to the following athletes who have been selected to the World Cup Period 4 from March 9 – 27, 2023, with races in Oslo, Drammen, Falun, Tallin, and Lahti. Athlete selections were based on the 2022-23 Nordiq Canada Competition Trip Criteria and summarized in the Athlete Nomination Synopsis and Rationale.

The deadline to appeal Team nominations is March 9, 2023 11:59 PM. Appeals must be submitted in writing to Nordiq Canada’s Appeal Manager, Stefano Mingarelli, at .

Antoine Cyr – Top-12 at 2022-23 WC/WSC individual final race result

Katherin Stewart-Jones – Top-12 at 2022-23 WC/WSC individual final race result

Graham Ritchie – Top-20 at 2023 WSC individual final race result

Olivier Léveillé – Top-8 AND top half of 2023 WSC team event

Xavier Mckeever – Top-8 AND top half of 2023 WSC team event

 

Athlete nominations were made by the High-Performance Committee (HPC) based on the 2022-23 Nordiq Canada Competition Trip Criteria. The HPC oversaw the selection process as per the Nordiq Canada Selection, Nominations and Announcement policy. Members of this committee are:
