Four Cross-Country Skiing Pioneers and Legends to be inducted into the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame

Everyone loves a hero, and each generation has its own. The Mackenzie Investments Canadian Ski Hall of Fame & Museum is pleased to announce two coaches, one builder and one athlete from the Canadian Nordic community will be inducted into the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame.

Devon Kershaw

The 14-time World Cup medallist and consistent top 10 competitor, Devon Kershaw represented Canada with his fierce determination and unrelenting spirit.

Dave Dyer

Longtime coach, event leader and FIS representative with a vast skillset, Dave Dyer’s talent for motivating volunteers helped advance the sport of cross-country skiing in Canada.

Alain Masson

As a cross-country coach for over two decades, Alain Masson’s approach as a gracious, humble and dedicated coach is deeply respected in the national and international ski community.

Jack Sasseville

Jack Sasseville worked with cross-country skiers for nearly 50 years at the club, regional, provincial and international levels, in addition to a legendary media role with CBC.

The Mackenzie Investments Canadian Ski Hall of Fame will welcome the full Class of 2023 at an induction event which will be held in Montreal on November 17, 2023.  Please join us for this memorable gala evening to celebrate all ten individuals who have reached the pinnacle of success and have greatly contributed to the advancement of snow sports in Canada.
