Background

Levi is entering his second year as Jesse Bachinsky’s main guide on the Para-Nordic Development Team. Over the past few years he has had the opportunity to guide Jesse at a few local races and now they are ready to make their mark on the international stage.

Introduction to Cross-Country Skiing:

Levi Nadlersmith’s parents were influential in his introduction to the sport of cross-country skiing. His grandfather took him to his first race when he was 11 and from there he raced in the Manitoba Cup circuit. In 2016, Levi qualified to represent Canada at the Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway, and the following season moved to Thunder Bay, Ont. to join the National Team Develpoment Centre where he was on the team for two years.

Jesse and Levi work well together, and Levi is very excited to see how far Jesse will go in his cross-country skiing career.

Personal:

Levi is currently working in Thunder Bay as a carpenter, specializing in Timber Fame construction. He spends his free time drinking coffee and paddling around Ontario and Manitoba.
